Terms & Conditions - Boutique
We work on a sale or return basis for your pre-loved clothes and accessories. Your items will be kept for a period of 8 weeks but specialist items may be kept for longer. When you drop your clothes with us, you will be given a collection date. If your clothes are not collected within a week of this date, we reserve the right to donate them to charity. It is not something we like to do but we have found that unless we have a strict returns policy, we end up with huge piles of clothes that we have no use for and that space becomes an issue. If you do not want to collect your unsold items, call or email us and we will donate them onto a worthwhile cause.
For every item sold, you will receive 40% of the sale price if taken as money, or 60% of the sale price if taken as store credit (ie. you buy items from the boutique). Payment will be made either by cheque or bank transfer - we do not issue payments in cash.
Due to the huge demand in the boutique, we reserve the right to take a maximum 7 items per customer at a time. This operates a fairer system so that every client gets a chance to sell at Love Is Boutique. There are no set times when you have to drop your clothing, but please check our opening hours before you make that special trip into town to see us. We will occasionally have periods when we can’t accept anything due to the large amounts we receive. Always best to give us a call!
We don’t need to tell you this but just a reminder that your garments must be in pristine condition, without stains, faults and clean before we can accept them for sale. We reserve the right to refuse any items that we do not think are suitable for the boutique but it is not our intention to offend. We know what will sell so please trust our judgment.
All goods are accepted at our managers' discretion and are left at owners' risk. We only accept items for sale in the boutique and will not accept items sent to us through the post. We reserve the right to sell items via the internet.
If you are buying in store, all vintage and pre-loved items are sold as seen and no refunds are accepted, so please take care to examine the items you aim to purchase and try them on to ensure they fit comfortably.
We do not offer a refund on new items or on new jewellery, but may give you a credit note to use in the boutique if something proves to be faulty.
We accept Spring/Summer stock from mid January and Autumn/Winter stock from mid August, but if you are unsure, you can always give us a call. If you have something special to sell, we don’t care what season it is now!!
Love Is Boutique will not sell your personal information. We only use any of the details you provide us with to give you a quality service.
